Waller, who had the most productive year of his career in 2020, missed six games in 2022 with a hamstring injury. He has also dealt with injuries to his knee, back, and ankle throughout his career. The physical toll of playing football is reportedly a major factor in his decision-making process.
In addition to his health concerns, Waller is also reportedly interested in pursuing other interests, including music and acting. He has already recorded a song and shot a music video, and he is reportedly planning to release more music in the future. Retirement from football would give him more time to focus on these pursuits.
